Looks Or Personality? The Cowboy's Weigh In!

So how should a relationship start out? We think that in the end, it has to be a combination of both physical attraction and personality. So we scoured the internet to see how guys reacted to the age old question.

Cowboy #1: As you get older...you can lessen the looks requirement but while you are young....you deserve that inferno of passion that awaits you.

Cowboy #2: Women's feelings are one thing, but in a man, my opinion is that there HAS to be sexual attraction from the start. The person does not have to be physically stunning, but there has to be a few things that make the man want her.

Cowboy #3: Look...men are pigs...generally we are highly driven by what we physically see. Big boobs and a nice arse has trophy written all over it. So what if she has the personality and intelligence in and of itself always comes to the forefront.

👉 Best Answer! Cowboy #4: Both are important. Looks are what catches the guy or girls eye first and the personality keeps them attracted. I think that personality wins hands down. Looks dont last forever, its the personality that stays with you. Focus more on the personality because its what keeps the girl or guy and it makes for a long relationship.

Some Good Opening Lines For Your Online Dating Profile

What's up?
How ya doin?

Predictably, “Hey, what’s up? and "How ya doin” saw a zero percent increase in the amount of responses received in an online dating poll. What you say in your first sentence reflects your personality in the online dating world. That just doesn't seem right, but in the era of digital dating that's the way people click nowadays. Go for something specific that shows you’ve really read their profile or noticed something about them that wouldn’t be obvious to everyone. We found some really good opening lines that got results compliments of buzzfeednews.

1.) Two truths and a lie; ready. set. go.

2.) Sunday priorities: exercise, sleep, or aggressive mimosas?
3.) Better discovery: Netflix or avocados?
4.) Breakfast preference: pancakes, waffles, or sleeping till lunch?

All of these out performed the standard "Hey", or "What's Up?". Aim for charm and chuckle. A bold opening line doesn’t just convey confidence, it also shows that you’re out there to have fun, regardless of the outcome.

The Big First Date

What do we talk about?

While the dating scene may seem like a lot of work to one person, to another, it's a fun way to meet other people. A dating service for single professionals, surveyed single American adults and found that nearly 70 percent of men and about 50 percent of women won't bother with a second date if the chemistry isn't there. No wonder so many singles fear the "First Date". Here are a few tips to help make your first date go a little smoother.

1.) Going to a concert or a movie may seem like an ideal date right, but you really don't learn anything about the person accept that maybe he or she likes Country music or butter on their popcorn. Pair these types of activities with dinner or coffee afterwards and you have a good second date combination. This will give you a chance to actually get to know the person. Make it an intimate setting, but not too intimate.

2.) So what do you talk about on your first date? Since you don't know each other you should actually have quite a bit to talk about right. Some of the best first dates you can have, are ones where you don’t speak about your backgrounds, your lives, your jobs, or anything like that. Just have fun!

Be observant. Notice funny things around you. This will ensure you don’t feel trapped in a bubble and can also bring you closer together because it’s a shared experience.

Here's what you don't talk about!

Politics. It’s boring, and could end up in an argument when there are differing views.

Religion. Even if you’ve definitely got the same faith, you may have different opinions about it, so this is best avoided.

The Past: Your own issues and insecurities and past relationships.

Anything negative. Leave all negative conversation at home. Don’t complain about anything. Just remember that when they get home, their memories of the date will be dictated by their feelings. Any negative feelings will stick out in their mind.
